Application Service Provision

To use Miiled SRT one doesn't need to buy own server license and hardware, the software can be used as a service. When using the service, user rents a right to use the service providers’ server, and gets a user account from a server maintained by Miiled. Using the software as an service has many advantages: it's effortless to set up, it's easy to inaugurate and it's cost effective because there is no front end investment costs to servers and software and no cost maintaining them. The application service is suitable especially for situations where usage is from low to medium size.


Using software as a service has many benefits to the customer:

No starting costs. When buying an software product customers total costs include more than just the cost  of software, customer also needs to get equipment and supporting software to run the software, and labor to install the software and administrate it. In software service customer only pays for the usage of service and nothing else.

Costs are standard and predictable. When using software as a service, the application provider and customer negotiate a price on usage of software which stays the same whole negated period. If customer would buy an software product, there would always be risk of extra costs via broken equipment, necessary updates to software and etc.. With software service the price stays the same and customer doesn't have to need to think where to find money for unbudgeted expenses.

Available from anywhere and anytime. Miiled SRT software runs in a server administrated by Miiled and it can be accessed with a web browser via Internet. The service is available 24 hours per day in 365 days in a year. Customer can always access the service and all data it contains, whether in home, office or traveling.

No long time commitment. Software is service is risk free to take in usage because it doesn't require a long time commitment to a service provider. If and when there is no need for service, service can be terminated just by not renewing the service contract. Because customer has not tied any money on server equipment and support software, there is no money and assets lost when terminating the contract. There is also no need to worry about loosing information since answers can be saved to Excel -files and whole surveys to srt-files from where a survey can be later fully restored.

Automatic updates of software. When using software service, customer always has access to the newest version of the software. New software updates are automatically installed to the server and update process in carefully managed i.e. backups are taken to ensure high reliability and continuity of service. As the software update is managed by Miileds own internal developers all software compatibility issues are being taken care.

High reliability and security. Miiled SRT service has been built and ran by the very same developers and software engineers that have developed the Miiled SRT software, ensuring smooth service with experience and expertise gathered from the research and development of software. Equipment used by the service is located in a secure data warehouse where physical security is high class. Software and network security is being taken care by many measures including mandatory usage of SSL-encryption when interacting with the user to make sure no unauthorized access to data is allowed.
